New York Product Launch Underway!

Yes, my official New York product launch is underway…
You won’t have to wait to get your mits on my gorgeous, all natural and organic award winning hair care collection any longer! They’re now on the shelves at the 262 Duane Reade stores in NYC. It’s been interviews with the press non-stop and for a change it’s me under the spotlight! The launch took place on the 14th April at Urban Zen in the Stephan Weiss Studio. It was hosted by the wonderful Donna Karan who has shown great support for my products and all that they stand for. I am donating a percentage of my sales to the Urban Zen Foundation http://www.urbanzen.org/ . I was so grateful to see so many of my celebrity friends and fans turn up and show their support for me. Well, I was supposed to be back home in London a week or so before the London marathon… oh no!!! that volcanic ash kept me well and truly grounded, thanks to the lovely Normandie Keith for letting me stay in her beautiful pied a terre whilst I was stranded in NYC.
Back to the marathon… (which one I ask myself!). In LA I had decided to go down and show some support to my friend doing the LA marathon but I got so caught up in the buzz that the adrenalin kicked in and off I went. I ran the whole thing!!! The next thing, I’m back on a plane to London just two days before the marathon and I managed to run that too all the way!! The London marathon was such an amazing and electrifying experience. It was especially encouraging to see my dad on mile 13 cheering me on after only coming out of hospital 2 days before! So far I have raised over £20,000 for Loros so that really makes it worth every bit of pain! My April Top Style TIP: To keep your skin and hair in tip top shape make sure you get into a regular sleep pattern. Sleep is food for the mind, body and soul and is probably one of the most powerful and natural forms of healing. It’s incredible how much a lack of sleep show’s up on your skin and your hair. That said, I’m off to sleep… I’m wrecked!
